Ice Cream in the post ! Does that really work?
Yes, absolutely! With the magic of dry ice and recyclable insolation it is now possible to post ice cream. Those marvellous people at DHL whisk our parcels away to reach you the very next day. But bear in mind that our parcels will only stay frozen for a maximum of 30 hours from dispatch so don’t order if you’re away in the Caribbean for 2 weeks.

Mainland UK (except highlands and islands, sorry)
When will I receive my order?
Our delivery days are Tuesdays and Fridays, so if you order between : –
Midnight on a Wednesday and 11:59pm on Sunday, your delivery will arrive on the following TUESDAY
Midnight on a Sunday and 11:59pm on Wednesday, your delivery will arrive on the following FRIDAY
Is there a minimum spend?
There’s no minimum spend, but do bear in mind that posting ice cream is way more cost efficient if you send more than 1 tub.
How much is delivery?
Post and Packaging costs £12, whether it’s 1 tub or 6 tubs.
I’ve made a mistake can I change my order after payment?
If you contact us on info@hooraysgelato.com we will do our best to rectify any mistakes you have made so long as your delivery has not been despatched.
What flavours are available?
Hooray’s Celebration range are all based on our favourite cakes and desserts. They have been tried and tested by our in store customers, and everyone seems to have a favourite. Birthday Cake, Apple Crumble, Chokkywokky Sundae, Blackforest Gateau, Lemon Drizzle, Blueberry Cheesecake and Eton Mess are gelato ice creams and Vegan Salted Caramel Brownie is a great option for those who have a non dairy preference.
What happens if I’m not at home when it arrives?
Your parcel will be left at your house, or a specified safe place. The courier is instructed NOT to take the parcel away. So again please ensure that someone is going to be home, especially if you’re sending a treat to a friend, before you order.
Can I send a gift to a friend?
Of course, that’s what Hooray’s is all about. Celebrations and sharing with friends. Whether it’s a birthday, christening, engagement, wedding or anniversary, a new home or school, being away from you for the first time, congratulations on an achievement or Thank YOU, or simply to say I love you, I miss you or thinking of you or to make someone SMILE! There’s a myriad of reasons why Hooray’s is the perfect gift to send as a treat to someone special.
What should I do with the dry ice?
As per the instructions on the envelope which holds the dry ice. DO NOT OPEN – dry ice can cause serious injuries and burns. Simply leave the envelope out on the side, out of the reach of children (or anyone else who may be tempted to check out what’s inside!!) . The dry ice will evaporate and you simply dispose of the envelope in your usual waste bin.
My order’s arrived and I’ve got a problem?
Oh no, sorry to hear you’ve got a problem with your order. Please do not call our shop they wont be able to help with this one. Please email us with details and photographs of your delivery and we’ll do our best to sort it out. Email us at info@hooraysgelato.com with the word “PROBLEM” in the subject box.

How do I find more allergen information?
Our ice creams are all made in the same kitchen, so we CANNOT guarantee that any of our flavours are completely allergen free.
How do I store Hooray’s gelatos and sorbets.
You’re probably thinking this is an odd one, but believe it or not we have had people put their gelato ice cream in the fridge and complain that it melted, so just to be clear IT MUST BE STORED IN A FREEZER at -18 C . DO NOT REFREEZE.
